Mexico City-based band Mint Field released their sophomore album Sentimiento Mundial back in September. The sounds on the album span discordant-jazz inflected sounds, seen in opening track 'Cuida tus pasos', to distorted kraut in 'Contingencia', and soft acoustic guitar plucks in 'Le Hable a la ola del mar'. Taken from Sentimiento Mundial, the band have just released a video for soft-kraut track 'Aterrizar', translating to "To Land". Directed by Daniela Solis and Elena Solis, the music video sees abstract formations created from dropping pink ink into water, and projections of abstract shapes cast over old footage, giving an eerie feel that mirrors the melodically strange sounds and repeated guitar bends that are heard in the song.
